BIOGRAPHY

A 9:00 p.m. curfew. Shoes off in the house. Strict uniforms at a Catholic all-girls school. Kelsey’s childhood was filled with rules. Luckily, she also had rule-breaking women to look up to: a quirky drama director, a matriarchal grandmother, and an ex-nun who sipped vodka from a gutted orange. These mavericks inspired Kelsey to trade her Northeast puffer jacket for a one-way ticket to Los Angeles.

Kelsey loves setting stories about bold women and cross-generational relationships in riveting worlds. Her work has been recognized by Coverfly in the Top 1% of projects, Final Draft Big Break, Austin Film Festival, ATX TV Pitch Competition, and more. Kelsey graduated summa cum laude from William & Mary with a B.A. in English Literature as an Honors Fellow in the English Honors Program.
